Liz Filbert, DVM, cVMA, (Acupuncture)

 Dr. Filbert graduated from Colorado State University, College of Veterinary Medicine where she chose to be an over-exceeder and studied small, large and exotic animal medicine. During veterinary school she sought out further education and became a Certified Veterinary Medical Acupuncturist. She and her husband Barney, both grew up in Broomfield – Go Eagles!  Upon graduating vet school, she returned to her home town and is now an associate veterinarian for The Animal Doctor, PC  where she practices small animal and exotic medicine. Together, Liz and Barney share their lives with a 180 lb. Great Dane, “Remington”, a 55 lb. hairless dog, “Bod”, two cats, Gizmo and London, and two horses, Reiny and River. While she loves all animals, she especially enjoys working with giant breed dogs, micro and teacup pigs, and horses.

Dr. Kristi Falk

is from North Dakota where she attended North Dakota State University for her undergraduate studies in microbiology. During undergraduate school, Kristi was a zookeeper at the Red River Zoo and that is where her passion and excitement for exotics was sparked. She then made a commitment to restore health to her exotic friends. She attended Iowa State University graduating with a special interest in Exotic Medicine and Surgery, (Avians, Rabbits, Reptiles, Exotic Mammals). Dr. Falk started her career at a small animal and exotic hospital in Los Angeles County before moving to The Animal Doctor, PC in 2016. Dr. Falk primarily is interested in exotics and uses specialized diagnostic and treatment techniques to restore health to everything from backyard poultry to micro mammal creatures, rabbits, ferrets to snakes, lizards and her beloved birds! Because of her diligent attention to detail in exotics, she is also a fantastic dog and cat vet too. She has even seen fish! Other medical interests include soft tissue surgery, neurology and ophthalmology.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, backpacking and spending time with her fur-babies.

grew up outside of Denver and started working at a veterinary hospital at the age of 15.  After obtaining degrees in Biology and Zoology from Colorado State University, she entered the Professional Veterinary Medicine Program at CSU and graduated with a DVM degree, specializing in small and exotic animal medicine and surgery.  She worked in the south and central Denver areas for over ten years, and then moved to northern Colorado.  She is happy to back in the Broomfield area, re-uniting with clients and friends!  Special areas of interest include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and pediatric medicine.  Dr. Singleton very much values her time with clients and patients, and places emphasis on understanding their needs through communication and education.  Her goal is to keep animal family members happy and healthy during all life stages through preventive medicine.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her beautiful daughter and their dog, CC, and two cats, Smotes and Pumpkin, and writing a column about pet care for community newspapers.

earned her BS degree in Animal Science at the University of Kentucky in 1999 and her degree in Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Her areas of interest include geriatrics, hospice care, nutrition and non-traditional modalities such as acupuncture, chiropractic care, laser therapy, and therapeutic grade essential oils. Dr. Fryburg values the importance in educating her clients about what’s best for their companions, along with including them in the diagnostic and treatment plan for their animals. She understands and appreciates the human-animal bond, along with the intricate connection between an animal and their caretaker. Not only does she enjoy providing her patients with quality care, but appreciates what she learns from them, as well. She believes animals have so much to teach us if we are just willing to listen.  In her spare time Dr. Fryburg relaxes through meditation, yoga, music, salsa dancing, and outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and photography. She enjoys staying active and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Dave Sievers practices advanced equine sports medicine and performs specialized lameness injections for world champion horses.  He also provides 24-hour emergency service, advanced reproduction techniques, motorized dentistry, reconstructive surgery, ophthalmic surgery, dental surgery and much more. Dr. Sievers sees horses from around the state that are brought in for advanced equine procedures. Dr. Sievers graduated from CSU. He did an extended externship and internship with Hagyard’s Equine in Lexington, Kentucky. He lived on the Tom Gentry Farm and prepared many thoroughbreds for the Keeneland Fall Sales. He then worked for a veterinarian from Sea World in San Diego, to build his exclusive equine clientele and actually performed over half of the surgeries for three practices. He has been the Denver Veterinary Medical Association's, "Large Animal Director". He has been the main speaker on founder, colic diagnostics and practice tips at the Colorado State Veterinary Conferences and at the CSU Residents Meetings. He has developed and published information on the Modified Street Nail Procedure Surgery. Dr. Sievers was the first person to develop medical equipment for Merck, (The Equine Spray Medicator) and he has spoken around the country for Merck on Equine Practice Development, Parasitology and Treatments.

Dr. Sievers believes his greatest veterinary achievement and passion is being a member of ISELP, a group of 1000 equine lameness and imaging veterinarians from around the world who perform specialized equine lameness diagnostic procedures and treatments! Dr. Sievers says that his greatest personal passions are the love of Jesus, Family and Horses.

Jeremy Sebor, DVM



Dr. Jeremy Sebor

attained his DVM from Ross University in 2003 after earning a BS in Animal Science from Cornell University. After graduating vet school, he completed an internship with a double boarded Internal Medicine/Oncology Specialist while living in Sarasota, which was also associated with an ER facility. He has been practicing emergency and critical care medicine along with general practice for almost a decade now. Dr. Sebor has established relationships in California, New York, Hawaii, Colorado and Florida where he practices and experiences a wide variety of cases. He enjoys all aspects of medicine and strives to communicate through compassion. On a weekend adventure in 2006, Jeremy and his wife traveled to Colorado, decided not to leave, and currently call Boulder home. They enjoy skiing, hiking, camping, climbing, but most of all spending the majority of their days with daughters Moon and Ru.

Dr. Trent Gall is an excellent boarded surgeon who works for Alpenglow Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center in Boulder. He is our go to guy for cases requiring a boarded surgeon. Dr. Gall and his team come to our office and conduct surgery in our operating room when these type of cases arise.
